Archal Shah has many years of experience in the composites industry. He has given a number of lectures and been featured in international industry magazines. The projects that he’s worked on include the development of advanced composites airframes for supersonic cruise missiles, section assembly of MAIL UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle), lining on propeller shaft for submarines, and sandwich construction deck panels for space vehicles.
Shah is a member of Composite Excellence Centre for Asia (CECA), Indian Society for Advancement of Materials and Process Engineering (ISAMPE), and Aerospace Society of India (ASoI). He has received many awards and achievements during his time in the composites industry including first place in Navoday at the national level, for development of Ultrasonic Testing of 3D contour composites shells in 2013; and first in Technology conclave at the national level, for the innovation of vacuum sputtering technology on carbon epoxy shells In 2015.
