NETWORKING RECEPTIONS
Opening Reception
Tuesday, November 10, 2026
Join us for the Carbon Fiber 2026 Opening Reception exclusively for Carbon Fiber Conference 2026 attendees! Taking place Tuesday, November 10th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, the reception offers a relaxed evening to unwind, connect with fellow attendees, and continue the conversations from the day's sessions — all set against one of the most iconic backdrops in American space history. Transportation from the Westin Huntsville included.

The reception will take place in the U.S. Space & Rocket Center’s awe-inspiring Saturn V Hall. As one of only three authentic Saturn V rockets in the world—and the only one designated a National Historic Landmark—this legendary venue offers a spectacular, high-impact backdrop for our evening reception.
Step beneath the massive engines, experience "The Force" exhibit as it recreates the thunderous roar of the rocket's five F-1 engines, and get an up-close look at an authentic moon rock brought back during the Apollo 12 mission.
Throughout the event, you will have the rare privilege of meeting and chatting with dedicated NASA veterans and volunteers. These featured guests will be on hand to share personal stories, insights, and firsthand perspectives on the groundbreaking missions and engineering feats they helped build during their time at NASA.
Feel free to ask questions and dive deep into spaceflight history with the people who lived it!
As you explore the hall and connect with legendary space innovators, enjoy an array of heavy food stations and complimentary beverages. It’s the perfect setting to unwind, spark new ideas, and network with your fellow Carbon Fiber 2026 colleagues and industry peers under the stars of space exploration.
